Recycling Blog #1

We should recycle glass because if you consider the approximate energy savings when producing various products from recycled materials, rather than “virgin” materials: 30% of less energy is recycled glass. Recycling is better to me because I feel they use it to our better judgement and reusing it just uses the product and throw it away. We can collect aluminum cans, plastic bottles, steel cans, and glass. Collecting these things and recycling them is a way we can help save the Earth. The closest recycling drop center is the Ann St. Landfill at 698 Ann St. in Fayetteville N.C. 9 things plastic cans can be made into are bottles, shower stalls, recycling bins, scouring pads, paint brushes, industrial strapping, drainpipes, plastic lumber, flowerpots. 5 things metal can be made into after being melted are cans, automobile parts, siding, appliances and building materials. The way I can promote others I could do it myself and convince others how helpful it is.
